Today, we churned out an abundance of pictures that included clothes that needed a new home however looking back the lighting was all wrong and the white balance was very unbalanced. So we had a tantrum and went back to the drawing board...with a bit of luck we'll be selling the washed out beauties on ebay very soon.

For our ootd we decided to revisit an old haunt, the location sits behind the house and village that  chelsey grew up in. Watermead is such an easy place to take pictures, we've taken many a picture here for past college projects...its easy on the eye.

Winter has definitely established its presence on our wardrobe, its one of our favourite seasons however we always fail to remember just how chilly it is without all the layers.  Layering is key kids!! pull out the knits, thick tights, long johns and scarves because we've already lost the feeling in our toes. However its not all doom and gloom winters an opportunity to play around with textures and santa&the birthday fairies are on there way!

When we started this blog we had intentions of it being the sidecar to our motorbike (uni), but until this post we've failed to really get the motorbike out of the garage and the sidecars been freewheeling. So we're working towards completing a foundation degree in fashion and costume, at first we thought a foundation degree sounded a bit of a cop out compared to a straight forward degree, however it really isn't... in our opinion its a cheaper alternative to being in a class of 30+ people. We're in a class of 11 and we get smothered by our tutor, the tutor and other teachers are passionate, supportive and a wee bit loopy. For our first module we've been working on a project with George, Asda which is a massive opportunity because we never expected to be working closely with industry so soon. we've been given a brief to design a collection for spring/summer 14 our sundae girl trend is based on a pastel palette with plenty of floral's and gingham.

Thanks to our project pastels and gingham have been the centre of our world and for this post the centre of our wardrobe...

We've been slacking, well at least I have...I've had my blogger half hot on my tail to get this post up. My only excuse for not doing a post is simply that life got in the way. I've been mega busy, good busy...a day out in the capital, getting trolleyed, recovering from getting trolleyed, getting trolleyed again and uni work took over in the last two weeks.

So I dedicate this post to what occurred recently, I'll begin with my housemates polish friend visiting which for him was another excuse for us all to go out and get trolleyed. I roped megatron into joining us, it was a gooden until our ageing bodies let us down forcing us to retire craving microwavable pizzas, Hardcore!

My housemate arranged a London adventure for his polish pal and her pal, her friend didn't make it so I bagged a free train ticket. So me, my housemate, Ola and rusty played the typical tourist exploring London whilst taking a lorra pictures. Favorite part of the day for me was slowly getting merry whilst people watching in Camden, it was Halloween so there was a lot to observe!

Have a butchers at my life in pictures from the last couple of weeks...

Here are our answers to Lilys Questions :D

Girly-girl or tomboy?
Megan - Definitely more Girly-girl than tomboy.
Chelsey - Massive tomboy! I still eye up trees and think how I'd navigate up them, then I remember I am a grown up and in fact a girl.

Best bargain in the last month?
Megan - Don't often get to shop due to being a poor student so everything i buy has to be pretty on the cheap side (Hence Cheap Frills ha) But my outfit in the previous post was quite a bargain i thought (Whole outfit for just under £50)
Chelsey - I recently cleared out many a charity shop in Devon I bagged a lorra beautiful crochet blankets and polo necks for under £5...I am a cheapskate it has to be pretty special for me to fork out lots of pennies.

Favourite autumn trend?
Megan - Autumn is my favourite season, i love wearing different coats, scarves, hats, tights, jumpers etc... I cant really pick one trend as i'm one of those girls that dip into lots of different trends, i'm quite liking abit of tartan, i like all the pretty pink pastels but i'm yet to venture into that trend and as always im big fan of suited looks i.e blazers or smart jacket with a printed trouser and i really want to buy a matching trouser and jacket suit.
Chelsey - I always love pulling out my trusty knits in autumn! really enjoying the mixture of knits with a patent full midi skirt but I'm not brave enough to pull them off yet. I'm also loving patchwork jeans I'm desperate for a pair to throw on with a polo neck and boyfriend coat.

What scent do you wear?
Megan - I have two, Chanel Chance Eau Tendre and Guerlain Insolence.
Chelsey -  Febreze.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could have one item only, what would it be?
Megan - This is hard because i was thinking my laptop but once the battery had ran out it would be neither use nor ornament same with a camera, iPad, Phone etc. Oh i no a wind up radio :D that would keep me company and entertained for awhile. :)
Chelsey -  can my dog count as an item?

Celebrity lookalike?
Megan - There is a few that mainly Chelsey think i look like i.e Peaches Geldof and Princess Beatrice.
Chelsey - at one point I had a lot of people telling me that I look like Cher Llyod, I don't get it? i don't like it! shes not ginger!

Midi, maxi, or mini?
Megan - Its a toss up between Midi or Mini.
Chelsey - On a day to day basis I'd say midi, I'm not graceful enough for a maxi or mini I'd get tangled up flashing what my mother gave me, mare!

Trends you didn’t ‘get’?
Megan - I can't think of something i didn't 'get' but there is something that i brought as they were/are a huge thing and i have tried to wear them a few times but never quite pulled them off due to the bulging zip making it look as if i am six months pregnant the item i am referring to is the Disco Pant!! Thought i was gonna look as hot as Sandy from grease but that dream disappeared as soon as trying them on :( haha
Chelsey - wearing a woolly hat in a club in the summer? why?!!

If you could spend £100 on one item, what would it be?
Megan - Probably a coat or bag.
Chelsey - Trainers.

City-slicker or country gal?
Megan - Oooooo i like both Hhmmmm... I think i wanna live in the country and but work in the city haha. (Like on the film The Holiday)
Chelsey - country gal! I'm a bumpkin, I love exploring different cities but I think living in a city would ruin my adventures.

What do you love most about blogging?
Megan - That i do it with my best friend :P Also going out taking the pictures, the little buzz when you have been working on it all night and then publishing it to the world :D and i love reading the feed back.
Chelsey - Ditto megatron! It's just another opportunity to chew my best friends ear off and I love being creative with the whole process.
